Initially built as an object as a winning entrant into a city-wide competition for interactive sculpture, his instrument sculpture was installed on Michigan Avenue, later to be constructed as part of a lagoon  development project in a city park which included the dispersion of sound devices scattered throughout the park. Sounds from the harp were electronically transmitted through solar-powered amplified speakers located inside the resonant wood chamber base and then sound processed and layered to make unique compositions.
