Landmark building design synthesizes past and future while collaboration creates a new art legacy

Greenville Federal Courthouse

Greenville, South Carolina, 2021

This LEED Gold facility creates a landmark building within a new resilient landscape margin to revitalize an underdeveloped urban area. Craig’s design and development of public areas are a welcoming entrance procession through a lobby with murals depicting the legacy of the textile trade in the region in collaboration with Joyce Kozloff. Craig’s crafted use of fabrication technology brings together the traditional and the non-traditional to provide a synthesis of expression, sensitive to its context and users. Designed as principal with HBRA Architects.
